The Cybersecurity Engineering Department at Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) distinguishes itself by integrating network engineering with cybersecurity technologies, with a particular emphasis on securing data at all stages—whether during storage or while being transmitted over networks.

The duration of study in the department is four years, during which students follow a diverse curriculum that covers contemporary topics such as:

Admission Requirements

The Department accepts graduates from the following branches of secondary education: • Scientific Branch (Biology and Applied sections) •Industrial Branch (Computer Studies),Computer and Information Technology (Computer Networks , Computer Assembly and Maintenance , Mobile Device Technology).

The Cybersecurity Engineering Department at Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women aims to fulfill a set of vital goals that meet societal needs and the demands of the modern labor market. The key objectives include:

1- Preparing Specialized Engineers in Networks and Cybersecurity.
Providing students with the knowledge and technical skills necessary to become specialists in the field of networks and cybersecurity protection.

2- Qualifying Personnel Capable of Managing and Securing Systems and Networks
Enabling students to develop competencies that help them protect and secure computer networks against cyberattacks.

3- Developing Advanced Skills.
Offering training that empowers students to take on leadership and advanced roles in both governmental and private institutions.

4- Supporting the Health Sector with Specialized Talent
Graduating engineers capable of delivering innovative solutions to technical challenges in healthcare institutions, with a focus on issues related to medical devices and ensuring their cybersecurity.
