The Artificial Intelligence Engineering Department at the Faculty of Information Technology Engineering, Al-Zahraa University for Women, is recognized as one of the leading academic departments in its field. Additionally, it is regarded as a vital specialization within the broader discipline of Information Technology Engineering. The Department seeks to emulate human intelligence by developing intelligent computational models and providing advanced technologies to build systems capable of making decisions and executing actions intelligently and efficiently
The Department specializes in the study and design of systems and software that enable smart devices to think and make decisions based on acquired data and knowledge. It also focuses on developing intelligent applications that can perform tasks traditionally undertaken by humans, employing techniques from artificial intelligence and cognitive sciences
The duration of study within the Department is four years. During this period, female students receive advanced theoretical and practical instruction covering various applications of artificial intelligence across fields such as cognitive sciences, smart machinery development, and natural language processing. The Department accepts graduates from the following branches of secondary education: • Scientific Branch (Biology and Applied sections) •Industrial Branch (Computer Studies),Computer and Information Technology (Computer Networks , Computer Assembly and Maintenance , Mobile Device Technology).
