About the Faculty
Information Technology Engineering Faculty is the newest addition to Al-Zahraa University for Women, established in 2023. It comprises two departments: Artificial Intelligence Engineering and Cybersecurity Engineering. The Faculty is dedicated to providing an engineering-centric education in IT, emphasizing excellence, innovation, as well as interdisciplinary learning. Our Faculty aims to empower female students to evolve into future leaders and adept problem-solvers in the technology sector.

The vision of Information Technology Engineering Faculty at Al-Zahraa University for Women is
is to emerge as a leading institution in the realm of IT engineering. We aspire to integrate education with applied research and contribute to the infrastructure development of both Holy Karbala City and Iraq. Our goal is to transform traditional cities into smart cities through technological advancement and innovation while equipping our female students with the competencies needed to stay abreast of scientific progress
